THE ALHAMBRA. A visit in 3D virtual reality

On the 29th March the Telefonica Foundation and the Alhambra and Generalife Trust presented a 3D virtual reality game of the Alhambra and the Generalife for the Internet and CD-ROM. It included the digitization of the Alcazaba in the Alhambra, the Nasrid Palaces and the Generalife gardens which enabled the spectator to freely travel through the interior and the exterior of the buildings as if the viewer was making a real visit.

However, it is not just a virtual reality game, above all it is a didactic study to deepen ones knowledge about the Monument, making use of interactive animations, photographs and panoramas in 360º that will help one to uncover the history, the environment, the customs, the architecture and the art that surrounded the Alhambra, a Palatine city during the Nasrid dynasty.
